For dinner I had hot dogs garnished with left over Blooming Onion from the Outback and cheese and ketchup. And they were delicious.
Injury
Of course I play softball. And I was playing last weekend, and I hurt myself. The fields were wet, and we probably should not have been playing, but we did. So I’m coming up on this fly ball, timing just right so I have a good running head start (we’re only down 12 runs at this point, gotta keep the game respectable) and just as the ball hits my glove… CRRRUNCH. POP. Ugh, dropped the ball. Threw it in to second base, and all I can do is stand there with my hands on my knees bent over at the waist. I did stay in the field for one more batter before deciding there was no way I could be of any use. I didn’t once cry for my mommy, or even squeal like a little girl. (more…)
Special day tomorrow
Tomorrow is my birthday, but more importantly, it marks the 12th anniversary of my first tattoo. A moment of silence is in order…

Looks like these cats were moving. In the first image, it looks like Clem is moving all of his transportation at once.
In this second image, it looks like Clem’s buddy got all the rest of the stuff from the trailer park.
I just wonder what his ol’ lady was so pissed off about that he had to leave in such a hurry?
Some plug-ins
Added some new geek shit to the site. First – the contact form (”HOLLER” in the nav menu up top). It’s pretty slick, better than building a whole page for “contact me”. Second, the ability to preview comments. I like when sites offer me that, so I wanted to share with the rest of you. Keeping it real – geek trash gangsta.
Be on the look out for some pics – I saw a spectacular scene on the highway this weekend and couldn’t resist whipping out the camera phone.
WT of the day – 1/21/2009
I invented a word today. Or a phrase, or something. Geek trash gangsta. It equals 1/3 computer geek + 1/3 white trash + 1/3 gangsta. Keeping on…
This thing is starting to come together nicely. I’ve picked about all of the nits I can stand to pick, and I’m almost done tweaking every single detail of the design. If you’re using IE, you’ll notice a slight delay when you hover over the top navigation menu, I guess that’s the price you pay for not having a better browser. I’m not thrilled about the “Archive for …” wording on those pages, but I’ll fix that soon and easily enough.
I’ve even thought of another way to make posts, or another reason to make posts. When I do, or see, something that is rather white trash-esque, I’ll post about it. Brilliant, I know.
Glad to see a new president take office tomorrow, I hope he can lead our country into happier times, I have kids that will be inheriting this place!
Progress, not perfection
Where have I heard that before? The look and feel is coming together. Still desparately need some direction for content. WTF is the purpose of this site? I’d like to post pics of sweet tatts. And post pics and/or stories of white trash with tattoos. Wonder if people will get offended if I ask “Can I take a pic of your ink to post on TattooedWhiteTrash.com?” Only one way to find out – touch the stove.
Oh shit – I need a bad ass tag cloud. Let me hook that up. I’ll probably need some tags too. Those will develop as the pics and stories get posted. I think. Well, it’s not bad ass, but it’s over there now.
